LeveragePoint recently held a special event celebrating the blend of achievement and appreciation, highlighting our company’s forward momentum. We came together to mark the internal launch of JobPoint, our new product developed to reshape talent acquisition, and more importantly, to honour and celebrate the contributions of women within our team and beyond, in observance of Women’s Day.
Bringing JobPoint, an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) developed to revolutionize the hiring landscape, to life has been a significant journey for the LeveragePoint team. As a small but growing business, developing and perfecting this platform required dedication, effort, and collaboration. Recognizing the need for diverse perspectives to enhance our efforts, LeveragePoint proactively joined the Global Business and Social Enterprise (GLOBASE) program, partnering with talented MBA students from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. These students joined us as consultants, offering invaluable insights and angles we hadn’t considered, significantly aiding JobPoint’s development path. (We look forward to sharing more about this impactful collaboration in a future article). Their contribution was a key part of the journey, making the internal launch even more meaningful.
The event itself buzzed with positive energy as thoughtful speeches took center stage. Speakers shared their vision for JobPoint’s great potential, discussed the importance of personal growth and self-care, and most importantly, dedicated heartfelt words to the day’s focus, celebrating women. The tech space is often male-dominated, but LeveragePoint actively strives to build a diverse team by hiring the most qualified individuals, including many talented women across various departments. This celebration wasn’t just about fulfilling an obligation because of the day of the month, it was a genuine expression of gratitude for the immense contributions these women make on a daily basis, both within the company and personally to all of us.
Following the wonderful speeches, the excitement peaked with a big cheer for JobPoint and the cutting of the specially branded cake. We encountered a minor hiccup with a confetti popper, but true to the LeveragePoint spirit, we made the best of it with smiles and laughter, perhaps a small reminder of how we adapt and find solutions together.
The rest of the event flowed with great conversations, group pictures capturing the moment, shared laughs, and, of course, a delicious cake enjoyed by all. It was simply a great time, reflecting the positive culture we cherish.
As the event concluded, there was a clear sense that great things are happening at LeveragePoint. The internal launch of JobPoint is tangible proof of our progress and innovation, while staying grounded in our appreciation for the people who make it possible.
